Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC-LV) is a low viscosity technical grade dispersible Carboxymethyl Cellulose fluid loss additive designed to reduce API filtration rate with minimum increase in viscosity in water based drilling fluids.

Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose (CMC-LV)

HB CMC-LV is a cost effective additive used as a fluid loss reducer in fresh water and brackish water systems. It is used to control fluid loss in dispersed and non-dispersed drilling fluids.

Usage:

HB CMC-LV is used in high viscosity high solids fluids or heavily weighed fluids and produces only a slight increase in viscosity.

 

Recommended Treatment

In fresh water: 0.5-1.5 lb/bbl (1.4-4.3 kg/m3 ) and in sea water : 2.0-3.0 lb/bbl (5.7-8.6 kg/m3 ).

 

Packaging

25kg HDPE compounded bag with PE inner (40bags each pallet) palletized wrapped and strapped.
