Paper Making Grade CMC is a multifunctional additive and film forming agent in paper industry. It offers excellent water retention, dispersibility, thickening ability and suspension capability.  CMC can improve forming capability, degree of wetness and stuffing affinity among additives and stuffing in pulp process.  CMC improves the pulp coating and decreases air holes, providing paper with high density, good compactibility and surface brightness in surface sizing. It also gives paper fine resistance to ink penetration and high wax gathering capability. CMC aid in flowing and dispersing of pigments, improving surface gloss and smoothness of paper during paper coating, meanwhile it increases toughness and folding resistance of paper.
